Terezín Memorial
Terezín, north-west of Prague, was a Nazi ghetto and transit camp between 1941 and 1945. About 155,000 Jews passed through it; roughly 35,000 died there of starvation and disease, and around 88,000 were deported onward to Auschwitz and the other killing centres. Some 15,000 children were held in the ghetto and a few hundred survived. The Small Fortress across the river was a Gestapo prison. The site is a state memorial and museum today, and admission supports it. What follows is transport and guiding sold by operators, listed as a record of what is available.
